Introducing our new acupuncturist

Isabelle has joined the clinic working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30am-6.30pm.

Isabelle has over 30 years experience in nursing and is particularly passionate about women's health, emotional well being, musculoskeletal issues and digestive health. She is a qualified acupuncturist and offers Reiki and acupuncture to deliver an holistic and compassionate approach to care.

How acupuncture works

Acupuncture is part of traditional Chinese medicine. It helps regulate the flow of energy through channels in the body to support overall harmony and well being. Disruptions to this flow can lead to pain and illness. Using fine, sterile needles, acupuncture helps restore balance, reduce stress and support the body's natural healing processes. It is also known to improve circulation and encourage the release of endorphins, enhancing overall well being.

What to expect during your treatment

Your first appointment will include a detailed discussion about your health history and goals, so the treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs.

During the treatment, thin needles are gently inserted into specific points on your body, while you relax. Most people find the process deeply relaxing and restorative, with minimal discomfort.

In subsequent treatments, your progress will be reviewed and Isabelle will make adjustments to ensure she continues to meet your goals and needs. Acupuncture is a cumulative therapy, where consistent sessions often lead to more profound and lasting benefits.
